REDWOOD CITY, Calif., – Sep 04, 2012 – Turn today announced the appointment of Joshua Koran to the role of senior vice president, product management. The company also named Dr. Alon Amit, current head of product for Origami Digital and the former product lead at Facebook and Google, as an advisor.

Mr. Koran will lead all product management activities, including driving the vision and roadmap for the Turn Cloud Marketing Platform, including the Audience Suite and Campaign Suite applications. He joins Turn from AT&T AdWorks, where he was vice president of product management, research and data monetization. Prior to AT&T, Mr. Koran was vice president of targeting and optimization for ValueClick, Inc., where he oversaw product development of the company's behavioral targeting platform and was head of product for ValueClick Media. Mr. Koran previously served as the director of product management and engineering at Yahoo!, where he designed and patented Yahoo!'s behavioral targeting platform.

Dr. Amit is a seasoned product executive with more than 20 years of experience at the forefront of data science and has a proven track record applying big data capabilities towards new business opportunities. At Origami Logic he is responsible for product vision, management and research, vendor partnerships, and data monetization. Most recently, Dr. Amit led product management for Facebook's ads engine which generated revenue of $3 billion by storing, processing, and analyzing enormous amounts of live social data. Prior to that role, he was group product manager at Google, developing the company's online advertising products with a focus on machine learning and optimization.
