This holiday season, the Turn Make a Difference program is helping the Salvation Army spread their message across the digital channel. Throughout December, Turn’s Make a Difference program will provide the Salvation Army’s campaign with an estimated 80+ million free ad impressions, along with free ad serving and media fees. With boots on the ground in more than 7,800 centers, the Salvation Army helps people with all kinds of social needs by providing food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation centers, anti-human trafficking efforts and a wealth of children’s programs. Eighty-two cents of every dollar is donated to support community service programs across the nation. In 2009, the organization provided assistance to nearly 30 million Americans, served 64 million meals and provided 6.8 million cash grants to those in need.
