IAB: "Move On Self-Regulation"

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has been busy showing leadership on consumer privacy by testifying on Capital Hill last month and more recently taking a strong stand in USA Today. In late July, Mike Zaneis, VP of public policy at the IAB appeared before the U.S. Congress to express concerns about the restrictive legislative proposals aimed at protecting consumer privacy on the internet. Read the full testimony here >> And yesterday,  Randall Rothenberg, president and CEO of the IAB speaks directly to the public from the pages of USA Today and the Huffington Post to warn consumers that the privacy controversy is being led by activists with an agenda to "obstruct essential Internet technologies and return the U.S. to a world of limited consumer choice in news, entertainment, products and services."
