Account Manager

Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for the daily administration of our top-tier advertising clients. You will manage the entire client relationship, helping to ensure that we deliver on their campaign goals. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the client's campaigns, including strategy, planning, performance, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting.

Specific duties include:

  • Manage and develop client relations in the early stages, from post-sale to campaign setup
  • Manage day-to-day contact with active clients—troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate potential issues while keeping an eye on campaign performance
  • Optimize, pace, and track campaigns
  • Analyze performance and make suggestions that mutually benefit advertisers, publishers, and Turn

Requirements

  • Two+ years in an online account management role
  • Knowledge of ad agencies, advertisers, and the online ad industry

Lead Account Manager

Responsibilities

The Lead Account Manager is responsible for the daily administration of our top-tier advertising clients. You will manage the entire client relationship, helping to ensure that we deliver on their campaign goals. As an Lead Account Manager you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the client's campaigns, including strategy, planning, performance, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting.

Specific duties include:

  • Supervision of regional account management team; Direct management and development of senior account team
  • High level leadership on strategic development and implementation of integrated initiatives
  • Motivate and develop direct reports and support their team in monthly meetings
  • Work with team to ensure internal and external reporting is delivered on time and to a suitably high standard
  • Maintain reasonably detailed knowledge of their team's accounts so they can cover for any absence and provide a point of escalation for the client
  • Work with Account Directors and members of Operations and sales to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns and to generate growth of advertisers
  • Committed to learning how to use all internal systems and tools required to execute a campaign and to maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of those systems over time
  • Influence new technology, processes and solutions to improve work flows seeking involvement in all relevant stages from scoping, requirements gathering, testing and implementation
  • Develop and maintain necessary technical knowledge to be the clients point of contact for troubleshooting
  • Communicate with the client/agency on campaign delivery and performance supported by the generation and delivery of regular reports
  • Work with members of the operations team to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of campaigns and to generate growth of advertisers
  • Be the internal owner of all assigned campaigns and be fully informed and able to provide information when required, to include metrics, objectives and status
  • Take responsibility for suggesting development courses for both themselves and the rest of their team to ensure continual development of the workforce
  • Initiating and implementing strategies to grow their accounts in line with the needs of the client

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior/manager online advertiser account and campaign management role ideally with auction-based advertising experience (Strong preference for display ad experience)
  • Knowledge of ad agencies, advertisers, and the online ad industry

Applications Engineer, Front-End

Position Summary

We are looking for a member of technical staff for our Applications team. The candidate will also get broad exposure to the business side, and have an active role in requirements process. This engineer will work and help us lead the effort in designing and implementing the critical features in our state of the art front-end that supports our advertisers, publishers and internal business users. If you're passionate about applications that deliver real value, high impact business front-ends, look and feel, latest web technologies, and are interested in joining a world class engineering team you might well be the person we're looking for. This hands-on role contributes to the organization's success through experience in web-based front-ends, application programming, and critical business systems. Qualified individuals will have a solid background in the fundamentals of computer science, applications building and high availability web front-ends.

Because we are a small team, your ability to communicate technical ideas effectively, in oral and written forms, and solve complex problems in a team environment will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Build web-based applications - Work with latest front-end technologies to make the features come to life. We practice continuous development with releases going out every week.
  • Database applications - Work with a group of engineers to help design and implement business and consumer based database applications. This will support large-scale, online application infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.
  • Collaboration on requirements - Work with the Engineering, Product Management and Sales teams to come up with features that would help us and our clients be more productive and improve the bottom line

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Must be hard working, team oriented, bright, creative, cooperative, and an exceptional problem solver
  • Must be able to quickly understand business logic and be able to translate into technical implementation
  • Experience with Java, C++ or C# is a must.
  • Implementation experience with web technologies is a must
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of relational databases a plus
  • Working knowledge of latest web technologies (AJAX, Velocity) a plus.

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing drives and manages the entire range of marketing initiatives including strategy, branding, messaging, sales promotion and sales activities, trade events, advertising and public relations. The ideal candidate has the strong project management and organizational skills required for executing the tactical projects as well as the marketing sensibility and experience to envision and articulate the strategic brand direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the sales team with the necessary marketing support and collateral materials
  • Lead all aspects of corporate communications, public, press and industry analyst relations, website and online marketing, branding, tradeshow participation, high profile speaking engagements including managing external providers

Product Manager/Director

Position Summary

Reporting to the VP of Engineering & Product Management, the Product Manager/Director will be a subject matter expert for the online display advertising industry, perform competitive analyses, gather market requirements, author product requirement document (PRDs), assist with product marketing, and provide pre-sales support and post-sales training.

Responsibilities

    As part of the Product Management team, this person will be responsible for the design, workflow and usability of Turn's next generation media optimization platform. This is a highly interactive role, requiring the Product Manager/Director to work closely with external clients and internal subject matter experts for requirements gathering and PRD authoring, an interface designer for developing the information architecture and wireframe prototypes for new system interfaces, software engineering during the development of technical specifications, and the Marketing and Sales organizations in the creation of appropriate product marketing and user training materials.

Required Skills

  • 5-8 years of Product Management experience developing the technology platform for an online ad network, SEM vendor, 3rd party ad serving, rich media, or analytics technology provider
  • User interface design experience including functional requirements gathering, user analysis, information architecture, prototyping and usability testing
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party ad servers (Atlas, DFA) and display advertising exchanges (Right Media, Adx)
  • Experience authoring MRDs and PRDs for business software delivered in a hosted service environment
  • Exceptional written, verbal communications and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working with ad agency media planners and buyers
  • Prior Product Management experience in an Agile development environment
  • Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and quantify market opportunities - then driving them to realization
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage different groups and personalities to achieve consensus
  • Attention to detail, while having comfort with ambiguity
  • Experience and/or strong desire to work in a high pressure, high demand entrepreneurial environment
