Turn, the digital hub for marketers, today announces the appointment of Richard Robinson as Managing Director of EMEA.
Richard joins Turn from Google, where in his role as Director of Brand Development he was responsible for transforming businesses using digital strategies. Prior to this, Richard was Vice President at IDC, where he led the global market intelligence firm’s consulting and marketing services business in Europe, and the client services division of IDG's International team, based in EMEA.
In his new role, Richard will lead the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for Turn, working with customers across brands, agencies and trading desks. He will be responsible for supporting marketers in using ‘big data’ to increase the effectiveness of their campaigns, in addition to building awareness of programmatic across the industry.

He brings to the company almost 20 years of experience assisting companies in the building of brands and the implementation of innovative go-to-market strategies. Richard is very well placed to lead the team in supporting brands towards this goal.”
Richard sits on the advisory boards of a number of companies and associations, including as Chair of the IDM B2B Marketing Council, and he is also a regular speaker at industry events and conferences.
