Turn Receives Redwood City Beautification Award

Once a theater and salon built in the 1880s that served as a hangout place for legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, the structural remodel/design of the Alhambra building located on Main Street is now home to Turn’s corporate headquarters- and is the winner of Redwood City’s annual beautification award! Turn was honored on Monday by Redwood City Council and its beatification committee. Given the age of the property, you might not think that the remodeled Alhambra building is now a hip office environment housing a leading edge technology start-up.  Although the office space is very modern - and now includes a game/lounge area, open layout, and flat screen TVs – the building remains reminiscent of the original Wild West structure.
